1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the Services. If you are using the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Services. By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• Keep your account credentials confidential and secure.
• Notify us promptly of any unauthorized access to or use of your account.
• Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Some features of the Services require a paid subscription. By subscribing, you authorize us (and our payment processors) to charge the applicable fees to your chosen payment method on a recurring basis until cancelled.

• Fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable except as required by law or as described in our Refund Policy.
• Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before renewal.
• You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• We may change prices with reasonable advance notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.

5. User Content

"User Content" means any information, text, documents, resumes, cover letters, images, or other materials you submit, upload, or generate through the Services.

• You retain ownership of your User Content.
• You grant JobPylot a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, and display your User Content solely to provide and improve the Services.
• You are solely responsible for your User Content and represent that you have all rights necessary to submit it and that it does not violate any law or third-party rights.

6. AI-Generated Output

The Services use artificial intelligence to generate resumes, cover letters, and related content based on your inputs ("AI Output"). AI Output may contain inaccuracies or errors and should be reviewed and edited before use. You are responsible for verifying the accuracy, appropriateness, and legality of any AI Output before relying on it or sharing it with third parties. JobPylot makes no guarantees about job outcomes, interview results, or employment from use of AI Output.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Services in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
• Misrepresent your identity, qualifications, or employment history in ways intended to defraud employers or third parties.
• Upload content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, harassing, or harmful.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, or attempt to extract source code or training data from the Services.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or overload the Services or related infrastructure.
• Use the Services to build a competing product or train a competing machine learning model.
• Resell, sublicense, or transfer your account or access to the Services without our written consent.

8. Intellectual Property

The Services, including all software, templates, designs, text, graphics, and trademarks (other than User Content), are owned by JobPylot or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Services for your personal, non-commercial use.

9. Third-Party Services

The Services may integrate with or link to third-party websites, applications, or services (for example, job boards, payment processors, or AI model providers). We are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Services and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or if we reasonably believe your use poses a risk to JobPylot, other users, or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases immediately; sections intended to survive termination (including ownership, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) will continue to apply.

11. Disclaimers

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. JobPylot does not guarantee that the Services will be error-free, secure, or result in any specific employment outcome.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, JobPylot and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or opportunities, arising from or related to your use of the Services. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Services will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid JobPylot in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100).

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless JobPylot and its affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Services, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms or any applicable law.

14. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which JobPylot is established, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Services will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless applicable consumer-protection laws require otherwise.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email or through the Services. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
